Everett Switched Its Flock Cameras Back On. DeFlock Everett Wants Them Gone.
Everett runs the largest Flock network in Snohomish County, 71 plate readers that logged 13,274,462 scans in June 2026. The city suspended the system on February 25, 2026 after a judge ruled the footage was a public record, then reactivated it on April 1 once ESSB 6002 exempted that data from disclosure. It is one of ten county jurisdictions with cameras currently on.
DeFlock Everett is a resident campaign working to cancel the contract. Its site at deflockeverett.com tracks the council calendar, public records, and comment deadlines.
